Product discription:

Vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) is a colourless liquid, immiscible or slightly soluble in water. VAM is an essential chemical building block used in a wide variety of industrial and consumer products.

Main Characteristic of vinyl acetate:

1. Stable. Highly flammable. Incompatible with acids, bases,  oxidizing agents, peroxides, chlorosulfonic acid, ethylene imine,  hydrochloric acid, oleum, nitric acid, sulfuric acid,                                                  

2-aminoethanol, light. Susceptible to polymerization; commercial product may be stabilized by the addition of hydroquinone.

1. Intermediate, used in the production of polyvinyl alcohol, paint and adhesives.

2. Vinyl acetate is the main raw material for manufacturing vinylon.

3. Used in organic synthesis

4. Used in resin fiber synthesis, also used as an intermediate and adhesive for oil thickener.

5. Used as binder, building coating, textile sizing agent and finishing agent, paper strengthening agent, as well as for making safety glass
