
Product Description
BCDMH is bromochlorohydrin (also known as bromochlorodimethylhydrene). It is a new type of halogenated amine disinfectant, featuring high efficiency, broad-spectrum coverage, and good stability. CDMH reacts with water to slowly release hypobromous acid (HOBr) and hypochlorous acid (HOCl), both of which are strong oxidants. These two substances can penetrate the cell walls of microorganisms, destroying their enzyme systems and genetic material, thereby rapidly killing bacteria, fungi, and algae.

BCDMH Applications:
1.Swimming Pools & Spas: Disinfection of swimming pools, hot springs, spas, and landscape fountains. Provides stable performance with low irritation to skin and mucous membranes.
2. Industrial Water Treatment: Bactericidal and algicidal treatment for industrial circulating cooling water, oilfield injection water, and paper mill white water systems. Prevents biological slime from clogging pipelines and equipment.

Advantage of BCDMH:
Compared with traditional chlorine-based disinfectants (such as calcium hypochlorite), BCDMH has the following advantages:
High efficiency and broad-spectrum: It slowly hydrolyzes in water and simultaneously releases hypobromous acid (HOBr) and hypochlorous acid (HOCl), which work synergistically and have a better disinfection effect than single chlorine preparations.
Good stability: It exists in solid form, has good storage stability, and the active ingredients are not prone to decomposition.
Long-lasting effect: The hydrolysis reaction is slow, allowing the active ingredients to be continuously released, providing long-term protection. It is very suitable for use in pool floats or automatic dosing devices, and does not require frequent dosing.
Less affected by pH: the bactericidal activity of bromine is less affected by the pH value of the water. Even in alkaline water with a pH of 8.0 or above, it can still maintain a high disinfection efficiency.
Low irritant odor: Compared to TCCA or calcium hypochlorite, BCDMH has a much lower level of irritant odor during use, providing a better overall experience.
