SLS（Sodium Lauryl Sulfate）
Sodium Lauryl sulfate is white or light yellow powder which is soluble to water and not sensitive to alkali and hard water.With good decontamination, emulsification and foaming ability, it is used as avirulent anionic surfactant. with good biodegradation degrees more than 90%.Applications:Used as emulsifier, fire extinguishing agent, foaming agent and textile auxiliaries. Also used as toothpaste and paste, powder, shampoo foaming agent.

Sodium lauryl sulfate is prepared by esterification of sulfuric acid with dodecanol (lauryl alcohol, C12H25OH), followed by neutralization with sodium carbonate. It is used in both industrially produced and home-made cosmetics.

It is used as the detergent for heavy dirty to wash carpet, dishware and hard surface. By adding other types of additive, its irritation activity will be ameliorated, degreasing power reduced, hand feeling enhanced. It is widely used in shampoo, bubble bath, hand cleaner, and the lather agent of toothpaste, cream or powder shampoo. In the other industries fields, it can be used as emulsifier, fire retardant, auxiliary agent of textile, and plating additive, etc.
