Main Characteristic of vinyl acetate:

1. Stable. Highly flammable. Incompatible with acids, bases,  oxidizing agents, peroxides, chlorosulfonic acid,

ethylene imine,  hydrochloric acid, oleum, nitric acid, sulfuric acid,                                                  

2-aminoethanol, light. Susceptible to polymerization; commercial product may be stabilized by the addition

of hydroquinone.

2. Vinyl acetate is the main raw material for manufacturing vinylon.

4. Used in resin fiber synthesis, also used as an intermediate and adhesive for oil thickener.

5. Used as binder, building coating, textile sizing agent and finishing agent, paper strengthening agent, as well as for making safety glass
