Production Workshop :
Indirect water method: propylene reacts with sulfuric acid to obtain isopropyl bisulfate, which is hydrolyzed to
isopropyl alcohol.
Direct water method: propylene and water are heated and pressurized in the presence of a catalyst for hydration.
