EDTA-2Na Applications
Food Industry: As a preservative, it prevents oxidative deterioration caused by metal ions. Used in ham, sausages, surimi products, rice and flour products, etc., to improve water retention, elasticity, and yield.
Cosmetics: Due to its near-neutral pH, it is the most commonly used form of EDTA in cosmetics, preventing discoloration, deterioration, and vitamin C oxidation caused by metals.
Chemical Analysis: Used in complexometric titration to determine the content of metal ions, as an inhibitor of nucleases and proteases.
Oil and Fat Industry: Improves the antioxidant properties of oils and fats, preventing trace metals (iron, copper) from promoting oxidation.

Detergents: Liquid detergent additive, improving washing quality and enhancing detergency.
Textile Printing and Dyeing: Used in the dyeing industry as a water softener, counteracting metal interference and improving fabric color and brightness.
Water Treatment: Hard water softener, removing metal ions and hardness substances from water.
Pharmaceutical Field: Used in the treatment of heavy metal poisoning (forming stable complexes with heavy metals to promote excretion) and the treatment of calcification diseases. Color photosensitive/paper manufacturing: fixing solutions for washing, processing, and bleaching; metal ion masking agents.
