Polyacrylamide is a macromolecular flocculant with a chain structure, so the solid polyacrylamide needs to be dissolved before use, and the polyacrylamide aqueous solution of reasonable concentration should be made for use.
When configuring the aqueous solution of polyacrylamide, not only a suitable container, temperature, etc., but also a corresponding stirring device needs to be added. The time for dissolving polyacrylamide is generally 45-120 minutes, and the concentration is generally kept between 0.1% and 0.3%, and the concentration cannot be greater than 0.5%. Because polyacrylamide has high viscosity, once the concentration is too high, the viscosity will be too large, it will be difficult to add, and the solution will agglomerate, which will affect the effect of adding.
In the process of dissolving polyacrylamide, it needs to be added slowly to prevent the polyacrylamide from causing agglomeration, which will not only cause the subsequent dissolution time to be longer, but also cause the effect to deteriorate due to insufficient dissolution, causing serious equipment blockage, etc. appearance. At this time, a stirring device is needed to improve the dissolution efficiency of polyacrylamide, so what should be paid attention to in the stirring device of polyacrylamide?
When the polyacrylamide is stirred, the speed should not be too fast. Generally, it can be maintained at 45 to 60 revolutions per minute. When there is a stirring device, the polyacrylamide should not be added close to the stirring device, which will cause the polyacrylamide to condense. On the stirring shaft, after the time is over, a large piece of jelly will be formed, and the car-making equipment will be damaged.
Solid polyacrylamide is prone to deliquescence, so the packaging must be sealed and waterproof, including transportation and storage in a cool and dry environment.
