It is mainly used for bleaching of pulp in the paper industry and bleaching of cotton, 

linen and silk fiber fabrics in the textile industry. It is also used for sterilization of urban 

and rural drinking water and swimming pool water. The chemical industry is used for 

the purification of acetylene and the production of chloroform and other organic chemical 

materials. It can be used as wool anti-shrinkage agent and deodorant.
